Summa Health Center at Lake Medina

The Summa Health Center at Lake Medina was led and developed by Signet Healthcare through a strategic, developer-physician-hospital partnership between Signet, Summa Health System, and a group of local physicians in the City and County of Medina, Ohio.

The new $25 Million, 88,555 SF facility offers comprehensive outpatient services, a physician medical office building and an ambulatory surgery center. From diagnostics to physician offices and same-day surgery, the Summa Health Center at Lake Medina serves the residents of Medina and surrounding communities.  On-site diagnostics capabilities include radiology, mammography, CAT scan, MRI, ultrasound, bone density testing, physical and occupational therapy and lab services. The project also includes comprehensive radiation and medical oncology services.

The Summa Health Center at Lake Medina is designed to create one distinct building with two component structures connected by a common atrium. Summa Health System leases approximately 44,307 SF. The remaining 44,248 SF medical office building is under lease by local physicians Signet worked with to create the project.

This new medical outpatient facility furthers Summa Health System's commitment to partnering with local physicians to deliver world-class health care services in community-based settings. The project opened in November, 2010.

Signet led the development and finance team, identifying and purchasing the land for the project, while also providing all of the equity and securing the debt financing. Signet will serve as owner of the project, and will also manage the facility for Summa Health System and the physician tenants.
