Mercy Medical Center Outpatient Facility

VISION

The Mercy Medical Center Outpatient Facility was led and developed by Signet Development through a strategic developer-hospital-physician partnership between Signet Development, Mercy Medical Center and local physician practices in Stark County, Ohio.

This new medical outpatient facility furthers Mercy Medical Center’s strategic vision of establishing a presence in the fast-growing community of Jackson Township, Ohio as well as its commitment to deliver world-class health care services in a community based setting.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Signet’s experienced finance team secured and utilized Recovery Zone Facility Bonds to help lower the cost of the capital for the project and make the initiative a reality. The project, currently under construction, will help Mercy Medical Center expand its services in Stark County and Northeast Ohio.

DELIVERY
The project broke ground in August 2010 and was delivered in the Fall of 2011.

FINANCING

Signet led the development and finance team, securing the equity and debt financing to build the project. Additionally, Signet’s experienced finance team secured $10.5 Million in Recovery Zone Facility Bonds to further enhance the project and make its construction and delivery a reality.

Signet serves as owner of the project, and will also manage the facility for Mercy Medical Center and local physician tenants. The project structure includes:

  • Long-term Ground Lease with Mercy Medical Center
  • 100% Pre-Leased between Mercy Medical Center and Participating Physician Groups
